Without sounding too naive, but what does it actually do?

Is it just plug and play ?. I would be interested if it works like that.

I had one of these in my 6R. Worked very well. Literally plug and play

Just tuck it up the top of the A pillar trim facing the windscreen

Got mine today in post.
How do you setup the coming home/leaving home function?
The chinglish instruction is so confusing.

It's automatic. You just need to connect the red wire - presume it still has one of them?
The new mode might be plug and play straight off now

From what I can tell you need to tape off the TFL pin on the headlight loom that plugs into the kit to get the CH/LH working

Thanks for the quick reply. It's the new model .No red wire in the module.
I haven't masked the TFL pin yet.Is that the pin for disabling DRL?.

Yes same pin. Without masking that off the auto lights won't work anyway

i ve tried that, but not long before i resumed my original light switch.
the biggest problem is when i drive under the shadow of a bridge, or something like that, the switch quickly turns on. But 3 seconds after i ride through, it will need another 6 seconds to turn off.
when i drive through a small tunnel, the same happens.
i am in china and i DIY something to my Polo. Believe me you will not like it.
