Is it just the dipped beam that is not working or is it the whole headlight unit?

And no matter how stupid it may seem... Double check the bulb... Triple check if you have too. :)

Check both the bulb and fuse for continuity using a multimeter rather than using naked eye.
(some times tiny break in continuity are deceiving)
If both are ok then check the bulb connector for voltage.
Just my 2 cents.

Fuse 39, or 59. (with multimeter)
Fuse numbers are written on the plastic of the fuse box. Small, very small ...Image
