APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
Hi All,
I have the Polo GTI 6c (1.8 192ps one), booked my car in tomorrow morning to have the APR remap applied. Had the car a few months and already done over 6,000 miles
Previously I have had remapped cars but actually used Revo (had a mapped Leon Cupra R and stage 2 TTRS), so looking forward to this. Be interesting to see how the traction is afterwards
Has anyone else got theirs booked in?
I think I may look at upgrading the brakes as well, and see if there is a good suspension package available.

Make sure to post up your thoughts after you've had it done!! Will be interesting to hear how the traction is as you mentioned.. Am tempted to do it but worry about the gearbox / clutch..

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
Will write up my thoughts when done.
I have not had problems in the past, I have always held that if you drive a remapped car properly it should not reduce the lifespan really. Especially APR and Revo and such companies, they know the tolerances of the gearbox and clutch and will map around it.
My TTRS had about 440 hp with the S-Tronic and it was fine for the 15k or so miles I did in it. Same with other remapped cars.
Fingers crossed! Wonder how long the winter tyres will last

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
It could not be done sadly, as my ECU is a later type than APR have released the map for. APR have been notified, so I can go back and get it applied - hopefully soon!

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
Exact same happened to mine today, I reckon Simon from APR was the other guy you were talking about. I'm on software version 3.
Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
Spoke to Revo previously and they said they couldn't remap any cars built after April 2015 or something due to the change in the ECU security

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
I am software 003 as well. Darn.
Hopefully stage 2-3 etc have same problems as that is what I want!
This is my every day driver so hopefully something will come soon, before I replace!

I'm going for the 98 ron map, only used V power or Momentum in the last 3 cars I've had.
