There is no factory option to match this configuration

Can I run the 310 front and rear disc coding for now? What would be better? Run it on the current coding or switch to either a 288 front and drum rear coding or 310 front plus rear disc coding?

I'd suggest to code it to 288mm fronts and 200mm rear drums. Adding discs will probably improve braking stability but unless you actually fit a WRC or GTI engine, you won't be able to code it to 310mm discs

Sure thing

Could you please try just to enter these two codes to see if they are accepted?
62DD6863422703C5461B16714259C0800904 312mm + 232mm
62DD7863422703C5461B1E714259C0800904 312mm + 256mm

Suggestions for your car:
62DD4463422703C5461B22714259C0800904 288mm + drums (option 1)
62DD4863422703C5461B12714259C0800904 288mm + drums (option 2)

You can try the latter two codes, they both appear in the factory configuration of 288mm fronts and rear drums.

Thanks for the codes. I tried all 4 codes. It threw the same error for all these codes

What happens if you change byte 2 to 48 and simultaneously change byte 10 to 12?

This is very strange. What version of VCDS are you using? Legal or clone?

Im using the latest version that there on ross tech’s website. It is a legit unit that I am using. I tried putting in the basic setting security code and doing it too. Same results. Anything else that I should be doing but missed? Im new to this coding thing so might miss on some noob steps.

Very interesting. I don't know how to solve this. Your coding as it is now appears to be correct. But somehow it does not accept any other brake diameter.

Is there any other work around for such an issue?

I don't really know.
It can come down to a couple of reasons:
- vcds bug
- some error in your abs module
- it is simply not possible to modify your coding

So I tried putting in the security access code for the basic setting and it did accept but when I tried putting in the advanced code, it dint accept the code suggested by vcds. Anybody has any idea what code needs to be entered for the advanced security access?
