Vw polo E 1.2 shaking on idle
Hi I have owned a 1.2 polo E. It had been running fine for the past few weeks. Then today it was running fine also. Until earlier I went to turn the engine on and it simple wouldn't turn over even though I had had it running previously that day. I eventually got it to turn over and it is only idling at about 750 rpm. It is juddering and shaking. However when I take it into about 1500 rpm it runs fine. I don't know if I explained that very well, but if anyone has any answers please let me know! Cheers.

It could be a faulty coil or a faulty spark plug destroying/ed a coil, or it could be a timing issue due to the chain jumping a tooth.
I'd image that there is a warning indicator on, that car probably needs scanned to see what it thinks is wrong, diagnosing at length is a guessing game, better taking it to a suitable garage workshop.

That's the weird thing, there's no warning light on

It could well be a faulty coil pack. Get it scanned for faults. That should help diagnose the issue
