It's the dashed lines in the middle.

Had my GTI 2 months now. From day 1, in certain light, usually when the sun hits a certain angle, I see what at first I thought were marks that just needed wiping off.
I tried wiping. But it still appears. Only every now and then as I said above.

Is it only at night? I have noticed interior instrument light reflections on the screen at night. Could it be that. Try covering the front panel with a sheet or something similar and see if it disappears.

Nope. Definitely not that. I mostly notice it during the day when the sun is low.
