hey ppl,
i know there is DIY guide to this but ive heard there are so many ways to debadge and i was wondering what u guys did? and what is the safest way?
i removed my badges using a hair dryer, but then i found that using my fingers is actually easier they are not that strong really, they come right off if you pull them gently. the adhesive that's left behind you can soak with water and it will come off once it's softened.
Just use a fishline to slide along the back of the badge through the mount-tape. With this outside temperature the badge comes of easily. I've done it myself and it's a job of a minute.
To get mine of i used dental floss, ran it across the adhesive pad in a sawing action and it takes them off really easily. Sprayed WD40 on what was left of the adhesive pad left it for a few minutes came out with kitchen towel and wiped the excess adhesive pad off! May want to wash the car afterwards to get rid of any oily marks the WD40 leaves
