I'm sure there are induction kits for the new Polo but I don't know how effective they would be. The standard air filter setup is very efficient, you may even find that you loose power.
If you're after the ptshhhhhhhhh sound each time you change gear your car needs to have a turbo plus dump valve.

hi there fella well firstly we need to know what car you have

above is joshes mk5 gti

and this is des_pd_tdi`s mk6 polo
note there is no mk6 gti as of now
then we need to know the engine
if you are sure its a 1.6 then its either an 8v or a 16v an easy way to find out which it is is to look at the rev counter and if the redline is around 6-6.5 then its prolly an 8v but if its nearer 7k then its prolly a 16
if it says 20v on the engine cover then theres somthing fishy as the 20v is a 1.8 turbo as used in the mk4 golf and some audis (also things like passat)
the dump valve can only be fitted to turbo engines as it is a device to stop the turbo pushing full pressure aginst an engine that cannot consume the available pressure (on diesels ther arn`t used as they can cause a loss in power) and for a turbo kit i think theres a german company that does a kit for the mk5 gti that retails around 3k plus shipping and fitting.
please get back to us about whice engine you have and which body style

Woah, nice!
On the note of dump valves, you can actually get devices which are basically speakers that play off the that dump valve noise each time you live off the accelerator. You can even choose between two different types of sound!
Not sure how well it works mind you, and think of the embarressment if people actually found out what it was!
