Would be interested in what is in the OEM+ Stage 1 as there is little info over here. I was looking through their web site yesterday to see what parts would fit the 1.8 GTI (seems some will).

I chose this over the apr tune. From what I was told the oem+ seems a more middle power band rather than a higher rpm. How true that is i don’t know. But it has very good low to mid range pull. My neck took a while to adjust haha

Thanks mate, that's a lot more helpful than what's on their web site. I did wonder about their cold air intake and turbo muffler delete, but that might be overkill.....

Good range of 'adjustments' on your car. Thanks for the useful info on OEM +. I do not think it is possible to adjust the turn blinker to 4. This is my preference but tried just about everything with VCDS and can't get it to work (only 1-3). Can be done on the Golf and Leon so think it is a parameter set in car hardware.

I did wonder about getting the voice control working, but was told it was licensed and there was no coding way around it. Frustrated that when browsing music on a USB stick the +/- and left and right buttons do a track change, rather than being able to browse up and down the list (like you can do in the radio interface). Bloody annoying!

I am looking a lot into the MIB upgrade. I currently have 3 MIB2 brain units and 2screens...

Today I got dimming DRLS working on indicator turns. As well as disabled start/stop feature. Played with TMC again but still am not able to receive messages for now.

Got an interior steam clean today. Seats and overall interior look brand new again. : )

Same conclusion. Can only make it work with 1,2 or 3 cycles only.

From my research voice control is only available via swap code. I initialy had just a message saying ‘voice control unavailable’ but have played around and now get the ‘voice control can be activated by a dealer code’ message

Added myself a iPhone magnetic holder to the spare button panel on my light switch. (Wasn’t fond of the original vent mount blocking my aircon in the 39 degree heat yesterday...) Wonder if I can add a inductive charger behind to charge my iPhone 8 wirelessly. Food for thought.

Also got me a new fob attachment for gti.

I saw you have factory Xenon / DRL in your 6C, and I'm trying to do that myself on my 6C, just that the DRL wont work...

Also, where did you get that magnetic holder from ? Does it come with a cover that fits in the 6C directly ?

Sure. I’ll do you a map after work.

It’s a Xiaomi ROIDMI Magnetic holder.
I used the blanking plate that covers the manual instrument dimming switch.
