Left hand drive EA888 VW Polo gti 1.8tsi turbo inlet

Hi All,
Just joined the forum tonight and already looking for help
Living in Spain i have a 2015 left hand drive 1.8tsi Gti and am looking to install an upgraded turbo inlet connector from racingline.
Any rhd owners installed an upgraded inlet ?
Problem I have is the larger inlet connector fouls on the brake booster servo, my car being lhd, so can any uk owners with rhd car post a picture of the area around the turbo inlet.
I am assuming that the UK cars have the brake booster on the opposite side to me i.e. same side as steering wheel and therefore no foul condition with brake servo.
Currently I am getting messed around from racingline who do not state there is an issue with lhd cars as they state the inlet is compatible with all mqb 1.8tsi cars including polo gti.

I've not fitted a turbo inlet but did fit an induction kit and there is loads of room on a rhd car.

So I guess you might have an issue if the brake servo is moved.

Perfect, many thanks for doing this.
It's unclear but looks as if the rhd cars have the brake booster servo on the same side as the steering wheel.
I.e. left side for lhd and right side for the rhd cars, hence my issue with the larger inlet not having enough clearance to fit without fouling, which is a bummer

Yes, perfect, as these pics confirm that your brake servo and reservoir are indeed on the other side ftom my lhd car and hence the bigger turbo inlet fouls on the brake servo on my Left hooker.
Not an issue on a rhd car but a big issue for me.

Anyone want to buy a brand new turbo inlet connector with dyno proven gains due to increased air flow and less restriction into the turbo.

How much?

Does it need a new breather hose?

Yes it does need a different breather hose which I also have purchased, apparently it's a golf R hose.
New longer breather hose is required due to the breather hose connection on the racing line connector being in a different position from the original vw connector.

Total cost for the racingline connector and breather hose was £176.00 (Connector price is £126.00 and hose is approx £50.00)
Both parts are new and only trial fit carried out to discover my 'non fit' result.

Could do these both for total of £130 posted from Spain signed for.

I also need to point out that I'm not sure that your existing airbox hose will fit the bigger diameter racingline inlet connector.
Think the racingline connector is approx 1/4" bigger diameter.

Is it just the elbow into the turbo inlet from racing line?

If so it should work fine and if it doesn't I'll be playing hell with racingline (the intake I have is from them aswell)

Yes the racingline inlet elbow is a bigger diameter where the airbox hose connects.
