Hi there I had the codes,
p0135 (Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1, heater control circuit malfunction),

p1180 (Linear Oxygen Sensor Pump Current Short To Positive)

so I replaced the sensor with a new one cleared faults with a basic obd2 tool and now getting

p1178, p1178p, ( Heated oxy sensor 1 bank 1 heater current open circuit)

P0030, (Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1, heater control -circuit malfunction)

P0135 ( Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1, heater control circuit malfunction)

After looking online it could be a break in the female connector wire does anybody have any idea where this plug goes to so I can check continuity. Thank you in advance

Have you plugged back in the original S1 B1 sensor to, see if it gives the same result and to have a look at the connector pins for being bent/damaged?

Also, have you fitted a genuine replacement which would be VW part or same NTK sensor?

I fitted an eBay matching part number but I think Chinese made. Unpluged new sensor and only getting error code p0030. 2 pins was slightly out of line but not fully bent I will post pic

Going to plug in original once exhaust cooled down.

I'm new to this forum.
I have a Skoda 1.4 2004 Auto BBA engine same as yours.
I'm having the same problem and fault codes as yours and ironically bought a similar sensor from eBay but on replacing the sensor having the cades again.

i was just wondering if you found out the problem and solved it?
