Just a little too low for my liking - prefer to just about see all the wheel in the arches.

Be careful when lowering too.
I'm sure there's a sensor attached to back wheels that is used for headlight alignment.
Very common for this to be broken OR people forget to reset the headlight alignment after

Unsure if the H&R 28711-2 fit on GTI's with the Sport Select suspension ("adaptive" dampers).
H&R seems to think so, but
all retailers I've inquired at, disagree and claim they will not.
Who do I believe, the half dozen of retailers. Or the manufacturer.

My car has the sport select, my rline has it too.
No problems experienced.

Lowered springs on standard dampers shouldn't be a problem on cars.
It's a different story on bikes as they often use a rising rate linkage and lowering the spring (usually for short people to get a lowered seat height) means the damper is suddenly working in a different part of its range from standard.
So the ride can be ruined because the shock is sitting past it's softest part of the curve and can't cope with bumps any more.

On a lot of the big BMW bikes, you can alter the height of the seat, so no need to alter the springs.

Check if the sensor on the top of the two front struts is connected.
Maybe it's not.

You should have it fitted at H&R South Africa in Boksburg. They the importers for H&R. They race in the Polo CUP on the weekends
I am two mind about H&R and Eibach, I would love to get a feel on how firm the springs are.
