Polo GTI 2019 - Battery

Post by gegege »

1.Is the battery of the polo gti 2019 is "without treatment"?
2. There is a sort of a cover over the battery - anyone knows how to remove it? :?:

Surely all modern cars have batteries that get fitted and forgotten about, no adding in distilled water needed ever, if it is needed then the battery has failed. Though in this case the battery should AGM so completely maintenance free - but never plan to let it get heavily discharged. As my own car (B8 S4) is rarely used and kept in a garage, I have a CTEK maintenance charger connected to it as I don't want to need to replace that big AGM battery early!
