New to VCDS and loving it so far as it has helped me diagnose many small issues and some larger ones. I recently found on the ross tech wiki that you could enable comfort indicators through adaption channel 6 or 7, however they do not show even after logging in before opening the adaptations I just get the error message channel not available for 6 and 7.
The socket 30G adaptation is great and will definitely save me at some point.

The O2 sensor is being fixed but I was curious what all the other fault codes are for. I am aware of issues with the passenger side speaker as it sounds burbly and distorted and the center strip takes longer than the others on the rear window demister.
My wife's old August 2002 build date Polo 1.4 75PS SE 5 Door came with that comfort function as standard, so maybe your car has a lower level of module that performs that task.
I'm surprised that VCDS HEX-2 does not provide a better and definitive description for the Lambda pre car sensor, which makes me think that it is not the usual heater circuit failure, so maybe an associated wiring issue?
That all wheel drive module fault must be an error which you will lose when you clear all stored fault codes, I seem to remember that my wife's previous 2002 Polo used to spit out "bank 2" camshaft position sensor faults - but it was a single bank 4 cylinder engine, a bit silly really.
Edit:- hum, VCDS wiki reckons that Lambda senor fault is a heater circuit issue, so why is it not saying that, strange unless it is an external wiring issue.

I think the O2 sensor itself has gone bad as the car is running very rich to the point people back off when on a bypass as even I can see a hell of a lot of unburnt fuel being chucked out the back, however, that is also coupled with a valve cover gasket leaking oil onto the manifold but it is being sorted as of tomorrow.
I previously cleared all DTCs and went for a long drive (45-50 miles) as to get a fresh reading of codes so these are about a week old. I was previously getting MAP sensor signal improbable codes as well but they have not returned after giving the sensor a clean.
Do you by any chance have the part number for the central electronics module for that car? Could help when digging around the forums.
Edit: not sure when the car was made however it was delivered in either March or May of 2002.
So far I have not found a saved copies of scans for that August 2002 build Polo, it was traded in back in August 2015 for a new Polo 1.2TSI SEL 5Door - though I will keep looking through any old failed laptop hard drives to see if anything is in them for that car.
From looking at the VW proper parts listings, there was a few changes made early on in the life of 9N Polo, so updating could be possible or very messy, there certainly was a couple of "levels" of controllers and her SE version with electric sunroof, remote central locking and 4 door electric windows would have be built with the higher version of controllers.
One thing though, as soon as she got that car, I made a point of planning to retro fit that function in my 2000 VW Passat 4Motion - initially I got my older daughter to give me a Christmas present of a retro fit aftermarket kit to achieve that - but I still have that somewhere, what I accidentally found on ebay was the correct but never, as far as I know, advertised, VW retro fit kit - so I bought and fitted that!
I'd doubt if the aftermarket retro fit kit would be suitable for your car as it was aimed at Golf MK? and Passat B5 - both these cars had all the indicator timing and hazard function built into the hazard lights switch, so not controlled from the Comfort Convenience controller - I'd think all later cars would have all these functions within the Central Electric controller which was a replacement for few earlier controller.
Edit:- remember if you do mange to get into coding this controller, my wife's 2002 Polo was a 1.4 5 door with all electric windows and an electric sunroof - if that accounts for some of the differences in coding.

An update on the O2 sensor had it replaced but ended up needing a new manifold/CAT as someone prior had welded around the threads and then stripped the threads. Now seems to run much better and no check engine lights
