Help cambelt done wont start

I fear the worst did the cambelt on my 9n sdi , ASY engine and it wont start, thought I had done everything ok, double checked everything and it turns over but wont start, the cam and crank time up by hand but the diesel pump doesent? so is it an issue with the pump not being timed up correctly, any help on this guys.. could be the scrap yard

I think ive messed up by turning it over manually by the diesel pump bolt after fitting the belt and not the camshaft .. school boy error ,
