Roof Aerial

Hi guys,

Please would anyone be able to advise if the "bee sting" type roof aerial from a 2019 Polo SE can be unscrewed from its base?

The reason I ask is because I'm contemplating using a car wash - I don't want to but due to present circumstances I might have to

Yes and easily, takes a little more effort the first time you unscrew it but it does. Solid threads.

I did try but it was solid, so I decided to leave it - had visions of the aerial and base coming off in my hand

I'll give it another go, with a bit more effort.

Grab hold of the base and then unscrew with the other hand its simple.
