Engine Light and Red Background to Gear Selector

Has anyone here come across this before? I'm at my wits end.
No codes on ODB2.

Absolutely nothing to note whatsoever, just concerned about Engine Light.
Bought a OBD2 reader and it threw up no codes at all so nothing to clear.
Weird. Thanks for the reply though.

It might be worth trying an ECU reset and seeing if it returns. I did read that error can arise from issues with the selector (if I'm not mistaken), and in more serious cases with the transmission. In the latter case, I would think codes would be present.
