4x4 drivers

Post by metz »

What is it with women and 4x4's?
As soon as they get behind the wheel they turn into destruction derby drivers.

Just on my way back to work after dinner and i turn right into a road to be greeted by a hooge 4x4 hurtling towards me semi piloted by a woman fidling about with who ever was in the passenger seat.

As she obviously owns the road we're both on the only thing i could do was mount the curb and perform a "oh christ please don't bend my car" manouvre. The dust clears and i'm on the walkway 2 foot away from a concrete post feeling lucky, I look up to see the woman shaking her head in discust as she hurtles past on MY side of the road.

Where the hell do these people get the driving licences?
Had she stopped to give me her two peneth i think i would have snapped her arms off at the elbows and beat her to a pulp with them.

Now i'm sat in work wondering if my shiny wheels are flat as pancakes from where i mounted the curb at 20mph :-(

At least i know my brakes work!

Exact same thing happened to me only the aftermath was worse.

Daft bint decided to carry on up the road when a line of parked cars was on her side. I was already half way down that road and she forced me on to the curb. I shouted a couple of obscenities at her and her big ass husband got out and beat the s*** outta me in my car cos I was trapped in by the seatbelt!

Afterwards he recognised who I was and realised he knew my dad and his son-in-law worked for my dad.

Ended up getting an apology off the **** but I wouldnt mind a bit of revenge someday!

Damn right no-one would mess with you if you was driving an Arctic.
If some one was driving at me with a large piece of ice, i'd bloody shift.

Does any1 get my little joke there.
Arctic = that large piece of ice where the North Pole is situated

D'oh

4x4s suck. Unless they're doing their job of course. We get quite a few round here cos Shropshire is a bit rural...

A girl I shared a house with at Uni was talking about getting a 4x4 (she drove a Metro), and when I asked her why she said, "because I can sit up high and I'll feel safer". But when most modern hatchbacks these days boast front driver & passenger airbags, side-impact bars, crumple zones, even curtain airbags and the like on the latest models, why do you need a big mahoosive 4x4 to "feel safe"? Just get a car with a 4- or 5-star NCAP rating!!

haha seems like all of us have had our bad experiences !

Once me and a mate were driving down the main road which goes straight through Hainault (where i live) when this 4x4 pulled out on me and made no attempt to apologize, but instead the male driver, who was HOOJ ! decided throw insults at me. . .

errrrrrrrrrr excuse me? YOU were the one that pulled out on me !

Well suffice to say bein from essex and being not liking the verbal abuse i got i decided to double back around so that i also had the opportunity to pull out on him as he came down the road. As i popped out and made him heavy brake i casually threw my strawberry milkshake all over his nice shiny 4x4 windscreen

bwaaaahaha the dood went MENTAL !

he ended up chasing us through red lights and all manner of road obstacles, with me best mate giving him a good c**t off from his window haha he musta chased us for like 30 mins, i coulda left him for dust at almost any time but there was too much fun to be had letting him chase us and giving him abuse AR AR !

suffice to say we made him very late for wherever he was going, and also strawberry milkshake all over your car in the basking sun?

oooooooh cant look good !

PS - I honestly am a nice person, but when people like this think they can 'walk' over the little guy. . . its just not on.
