Loose Axle sound? Video incl.

I took my car into Volkswagen numerous times for a groaning noise turning left and right sharply but they have not figured out what it is. I suspect it is the CV joint but they don’t think it is, and instead think it is the brake discs flexing. I jacked up the car and the video above shows the noises I hear when moving the wheels back and forth. There is a lot of play somewhere along the front axels on both sides, as when I hold them and move the wheels you can feel the clunking. It seems louder on the passenger side.
It has been booked in but if anyone knows what it sounds like I can tell them so that I am not waisting my time
