Service Interval

I'm nearing the 10,000 mark, when should I expect a warning for the next service? The garage has told me I am not on variable servicing so I'm guessing it should be anytime soon.

You should get it at the 9000 mark if you are not on variable servicing. Maybe it has not been set for you car?

That's what I'm beginning to think. I didn't pay for servicing in advance and then have it serviced every 20,000 miles. I don't trust the garage so is there any other way to tell what service option your car is set to.

If anyone that has had their car serviced be it fixed or variable can you tell me what the milleage was for your first service.

Also does it give you a milleage count down? and how many miles before the service is due does it warn you.

Had my first service at about 8,000, that was on Variable.
Don't think it gave a countdown, just told me when it needed the service.

I'm now coming up to my 3rd service and it's on fixed this time.
It's given me a countdown since about 3000 miles til service.
