Cannot open tailgate after unlock car

Hello
After unlocking the doors, I cannot open the tailgate.
Opening with the remote control does not work either. The system signals that the trunk is open (the trunk open icon and interior lighting are on). What could have happened and how to fix it?

Have you tried manually unlocking it from inside the trunk?

You’ll need to drop your rear seats and get into the trunk, and release the cover that holds the emergency warning triangle in place. Once that cover’s released, you’ll see a slot and the unlocking pin in the slot. To unlock the tailgate, the pin needs to be slid sideways - in the direction of the arrow on the tailgate trim panel - using the key blade or a screwdriver blade.

Tonight I will try to do as you said. I'm worried why this happened and whether I will be able to close the trunk lid after unlocking it.

Is your car equipped with a reserver camera as well?

Fortunately, I managed to open the trunk lid without releasing the lock you wrote about... Strange thing. As if something got stuck in the mechanism. Anyway, thanks for your help!
