Oil Temperature Display in 2010 6R

Post by 6R2T3 »

I'd like to have a read-out of the oil temperature somewhere in my car, whether that's in the MFD or a vent display etc.

MFD is this style:

What are the solutions?

p.s. I've tried searching but haven't found anything solely relating to the 6R! Thanks.

My GTI IC (high line MFD).

My Standard/factory IC (low line MFD).

I don't know if anyone tried to modify the EEPROM of a low line MFD IC to display the oil temperature...🤷‍♂️

I did this a few times to a WRC cluster. It's exactly as you describe ciclo 8) modify those values in EEPROM
