Help with retrofitting BCM-Max + Automatic lights

Hi, i'm currently installing a Discover Media (5C0 035 68 0G). I'd like to remove the dashboard for this (to lay all the cables as OEM as possible). Since the dashboard is already out, I wanted to retrofit a few things:
  • BCM Max (7E0 937 090 C -> later updated to 7E0 937 090 E)
  • Interior mirror from the T6 with FLA/HLA (7E0 857 511 F) and rain light/sensor (5K7 855 559 C)
    • (New windshield with new bracket already installed)
  • Light switch with auto light
  • cruise control
cruise control and Interior mirror from the T6 with FLA/HLA

It should be pretty straightforward. The circuit seems very simple and shouldn't be a problem.
(I would install the LIN cable directly for a later MFL retrofit).

BCM-Max + Automatic lights

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a circuit diagram for the conversion so that I could build the wiring harness. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one :(

I would be grateful if you could help me out here (If you have any further tips that I can incorporate directly (such as the LIN line), I would be very grateful). Please find attached a current AutoScan.

*EDIT*

I cannot add AutoScan as code because I received the following message:

"Forbidden. Contains contacts. Message seems to be spam. Anti-Spam by CleanTalk."

*EDIT2*

I removed "Shop", "VCID", "ASAM Dataset", and "ROD" to avoid the error message.

All the wiring you can find on superetka.com/elsa
It's free.
If you need more details you can search this forum or drive2.ru forum. Lots of polo 6R/61 users have retrofitted 090 bcm and 'assistance pack' including fla, rdks, autolight, mfa+/maxidot etc. Even kessy =))

Are there any instructions available? I have no problem building the cable harnesses myself or installing them directly in the vehicle. I just need some help with the cable harnesses. To avoid mixing things up, my plan is to “only” retrofit the BCM-Max for now and then do the rest step by step later. Unfortunately, Ciclo no longer manufactures BCM cable harnesses.

There is a picture showing instructions in the Ciclo sales thread, but unfortunately I can't find a link.
(Probably only available if I buy the wiring harness or personal tech support)

Hi, I spent many years trying to make sure you all (around the world) could install a BCM Max on your 6Rs/PQ25. It's the reason why you are here.
In good logic, I can help a bit but I do not provide personal assistance to manufacture the new wiring looms for BCM MAX Adaptation, there's a wealth of information on this and other forums.

In order for me to manufacture new wiring looms for others, you have to seduce me, TRUST is everything.🤷‍♂️

It's essential to know that each 6R has its particularities when it comes to correctly manufacturing the new wiring for BCM MAX adaptation. It's also important to know that, 'in general terms', there are two possible "starts" for the manufacture of new wiring looms for BCM MAX adaptation: 2008/9/10 ---> 2014/5 ---> 2019/22.

With the new IC/BCM CAN lines, you can install the BCM MAX that you have according to the Ross-Tech instructions. Everything will work as before (NP). Several faults will hang in the diagnosis, but this does not imply a decrease in the vehicle's performance.
Then you can go step by step solving the detected faults.

And that makes perfect sense. I've now started going through the circuit diagrams myself and I've already noticed a few things.

License plate light

Is it really necessary to change this? In the circuit diagram for the Polo in RU, the license plate light is also connected to T73b/7. However, it is also connected to T73b/4 and T73a/45. Does that mean it still seems to work without a change?

KL58 | Kl58d

I'm not sure how best to solve this. Do you go from T73b/4 to T6/3 (KL58 - In) and disconnect the old cable that was installed there?

Reversing lights

In the RU Polo, T73b/48 is connected to T2b/1 and to the rear lights.
In the EU Polo, T73b/48, T12b/12, and T2b/1 are also already connected. Hence the question => conversion necessary?

And that's as far as I've gotten. I'm only pursuing this when I have some time to search through the circuit diagrams.

If you have a European 6R, forget about comparing it to the Russian, Indian or Chinese Polo. These used relays or the light switch differently than the European 6R for some of the lights.

Due to the equipment you've indicated you want to install, you should focus your studies on the diagrams for the 2015 Transporter T6 and, as an aid, for the 2016 Amarok.
Compare them to your Polo 6R and create your new wiring.

In case you have any of the many BCM Max Adaptation guides I made, the premises were:
- Adaptable to any 6R (many different models = different factory wiring).
- Efficiency
- Ease of installation. It's not comfortable in any case. I'm not responsible for the design/construction of the Polo 6R, however, some PhD in communications sciences with a lack of skills suggested that my wiring looms were very difficult to install... (thanks for the support at that times).
Is going to Mars easy?
If I had had the choice, I would have been born in 2525 and not in these medieval centuries.🤭

Nowhere in the 6R diagrams is the difference between BCM Max and 'junk' BCMs explained.
You should know that only the 6R Bluemotion (7L6) and those with xenon headlights (7L3 and 7L6) left the factory with the old Re4 or MAX BCMs.
On the other hand, there are things that aren't explained in the diagrams and that are learned through experimentation and scientific thinking...

I know every position of the contact terminals or pins on the connectors for this "Adaptation Game" (wiring, coding, etc) of all PQ25s around the world, but it's best to figure out for yourself which is the best solution for each of the tasks ahead.
If you get stuck at any point, I suggest you take a look at several of my installation guides, maybe they will enlighten you.
