Rear door won't open from inside. Won't lock with remote fob.

I have a Polo 2010 Mk5 6R.

The rear left door will open from the outside, but not from the inside.
It will not lock if I use the key fob to lock the car. I can still open the door from the outside when the other doors are locked.

What do I need to do to fix this?
Is there a good guide for this? I have looked on YT but none of the problems exactly match mine.

I figured out how to remove the door card and the lock assembly.
The problem is with the lock assembly.
The lever that should release the catch doesn't do anything. In addition the electric lock activates but doesn't actuate.
So my problem is inside the lock assembly. As far as I can tell, the lock assembly cannot be opened without destroying it.
Another part designed not to be maintainable, repairable.

I am currently looking for a used part.

Id recommend testing the wiring harness ( that is on B pillar near the hinge).
Before you decide to buy a new part. Just give it a visual inspection
