Passenger side door handle stuck?

Hi guys, first time poster so please be gentle.

The passenger side door handle is stuck in the out position and I can't force it back?

Now I know within the door side panel there should be two screws which you can undo but it looks like the whole mechanism has shifted left...which is why I can't put the door handle back or unscrew the screws inside!
