9n Chrome grille?

I was thinking of getting a new front grille. I want to get the Charatere one but then I saw this...from In.Pro on

What do you think. It's about a 1/3 rd of the price too. It looks a bit Merc.

its only a 1/3 of the price cos its styick on strips that go onto the stock grill

I quite like it. But, it probably looks kack in the flesh and if you do have it you'd need to get a black VW badge for the front, otherwise there would be too much chrome.

Theres also the fact that that'd be the only piece of chrome trim on the car
Very Passat W8 though
Next mod is gonna be the 9n Aluminium boot struts, £35 and i'll be fitting them myself for once (note: impending disaster!! See the 'Oops' thread
)

I heard a rumour that the polo's supposed to be getting a minor facelift soon. The front grill will have chrome added in a "U" shape around the edge (like the Passat), but not across the horiztonal slats. I don't know if this is across the range, or just for the more expensive options. Might be worth waiting for this part to become available.
Also, on polo9n - there's someone who has made a grill the same idea as this just by applying silver foil (adhesive heat shielding stuff from a builder's/plumber's merchant) to have worked.

you might be able to use that under bonnet mirror film instread of plumers stuff

as for fitting the b oot struts look at each end of the strut and theres a metal clip that you need to slide a screwdriver under and then pry i=t off and watch it fly about 50 feet then to fit the new ones pry the clip up and fit then press on the clip

Something always goes wrong when I try. This is after I fitted my TT pedals...
