In-car accesories

Post by ciden »

9n owners - in the boot, on the left there are 2 rubber straps, looks like there's suppose to be an extinguisher installed there - did anyone get one as standard? ...and also when you open the boot, just below the latch hook, there's a space for a medical kit..anyone got one of those with their cars? 'Cause it seems like our locals cars don't have any of those as standard?!?!

Thank you, much appreciated! Hmm, now all I need is to find a small fire extinguisher somewhere...one never knows what might happen

well its for a hazard triangle rather than an extinguisher and the medical kit cannot be sold by vw as they are not a chemist and a complete kit contains things that only chemists can sell of thats what i was told

I believe it is infact for an extinguisher, and the other place for a warning triangle. I have a few nice little extringuishers that fit :D And a warning triangle as well. (non vw)

I thought it was an spare oil bottle holder as there was a bottle of free oil in the boot when I picked up my car.

Lets have a competition, who keeps the most unusual item in thier car! i think a bottle of Sprite in the oil carrier is winning so far.

Sorry, it's just something a mate left in the car after picking him up from Bristol. There's a certain football match he went to that I couldn't get a tick for. :(

But, anyway, were on our way to Cardiff!

Hang on. We're already there.

:D

James.
