Post by sweetinglooney »

Hi, just wondered if thse would fit ok?

http://www.motor-world.co.uk/kroozin/sh ... od_id=7601

http://www.motor-world.co.uk/kroozin/sh ... od_id=7635

I no it's a universal fit but sometimes they dont!

Also anyone with a backbox on a Polo 9N, could you please tell me where you got yours from and what make/model it is?

Cheers

Well i jus got mine yesterday from eBay. £40 inc. delivery. It's a brand new Peco Big Bore 4" one which I'm gonna go out now to find out how much it'll cost and see if it fits.

Well I was gonna go for those twin ones made specifically for the 9N, but those are expensive and this is way cheaper! :P

Found out from 2 places that they will charge for labour around £60 for 1.5hour and the other place for £30ish/per hour and he said he'll take like 2 hours 'cos he needs to do the welding etc 'cos the 9N one is a bit queer at the moment (the backbox).

Very interesting, 'cos I thought the backbox was huge (the PECO one) but it's actually smaller than the Polo's, 'cept for the tip.

Anyway will look for more quotes soon as.

keep you up to date, but check these out for now - can't wait!!

for a snug fit i wuld go for a slight trim.....

IMO it looks betta "with" the bodywork rather than peeking out "below" it.
