Can someone do me a quick favour?

Post by Nelson_Wilbury »

Could they please (when possible) have a quick look at there front arches where mudflaps would attach and see if there are two metal ring-like clips there?

Just need to know if they are actually part of the car or something that came with the flaps

Cheers

They come with the flaps and you use them on the rear as far as I remember.
Although I may be wrong.

Thanks Petrified.

My dealership put them on the front  I couldn't really get the wingliner to fit properly without them this morning so I left them on. But I'll now remove them when I get the time.

I'll check mine in the morning and let you know where they go. I'm sure they were on the back but like I said, I might be wrong.

Petrified, one more quick favour if you could?

The small spanner, I had a quick look last night to put the wheel/toolkit back in my car (not convinced it sits that lower but oh well) but I can't find where the spanner goes :?

Cheers

Here you go. Is this the clip you're talking about??

I know, I know it needs a clean, but then at least it show the mud flaps are working!

And a pic of the toolkit. I might find this quite handy too as I can never put it all back in the right place.

Thanks Petrified. So thats where it goes :)

Those wernt the clips I was thinking of I'm afraid, they are actually behind the mudflaps so i'm afraid you wouldn't see them.

FAO people without flaps. On the wingliner screws are there two metal square like clips on the 2nd and 3rd screw from the rear front arch?

Cheers
