Exhaust - rear box extension...

The exhaust rear box extension on a Mercedes C-Class Coupe (the oval one wich is is split in two) - is this actually part of the exhaust system, or just an add on piece - and could this fit on to a Polo?

Almost definately part of the rear box.

Damn, ok ta. Seems I'll be visiting the local Mercedes dealership tomorrow then - wonder how much they gonna charge me for one
