Aye, problem seemed to be fine after getting the code reset, however it recently came back on a few days ago so i need to take it back AGAIN to get the code looked at / wiped :/ its really doing my head in!

Hello mate. I think the best thing to do would be to have a good look through previous threads on this forum about various different issues, pros/cons etc and make you're own decision based on others experience. It certainly helped me with my decision on buying my 9n.

Im an ex Halfrauds audio fitter as well btw haha. I've used all sorts of crazy s**t to take stereos out. Bike spokes etc

I had the same problem (except only one of my vents was missing on purchase) and replaced the whole thing myself in under 5 minutes. Pretty easy tbh as long as you have a torx set and removal tools.

Try dubmeister, they do uk legal pressed plates

Pressed plates are legal in the uk as long as they comply with uk laws. It must have the postcode of the company somewhere that made them, uk spec for letters/numbers (my mate got his balls kicked for having 'french' plates on his clio, only difference was the number 4 - uk being the 4 you see here ...

As of today i've had no bother with the car whatsoever, no engine management light coming on or loss of power and i've had it a good 100+ miles since then, so hopefully thats the end of that problem
