Re: Polo GTI + - Rear Light Housing Replacement?
Yes they're really easy to replace, and used ones are around £100 on ebay, here's an example > https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195510332384?hash=item2d8552ebe0:g:qBkAAOSwyzxjkyB8&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8C8juKcicP1uWCIYX9ES8WTEoLtJCBkSp7ufVFPs2Espnm%2B4Lk9wluJgU03s1WvUB1e7UmqvY942nrZloV1s3GYfF5eYTF6ZOUZ...

Re: Fuel economy
I usually get somewhere between 50 to 55 on most journeys, obviously less pottering around town and to the shops etc, and my Long Term reading is 48.3, that's the overall figure since I got the car new in March 2020.
Mine is the 115ps 6-speed.

Colour changing isn't an option Andy, you can only change the brightness.

Re: Oil consumption on the latest 3cylinder TSI engines
I've had mine for 30 months, it's the 115ps 6-speed, and it hasn't used any oil between services, I've only done about 1500 miles between each service though.

Re: Tail light (passenger side) failure
Yes the rear light cluster release nut is very tight, you'll need a 10mm socket on it if you're doing it for the first time, thereafter you'll be able to do it by hand, assuming you only tighten it by hand when replacing it.
