Re: Fuel Consumption of a 1.6 MPi Polo
Hello Polovivo, I guess you are also from South Africa. (I stay in Cape Town.) Your Polo Vivo GT 1.0TSi is very fuel efficient. The 2 x 1.0TSi Highline Polo you have, are they manual or DSG? Re: Fuel Consumption of a 1.6 MPi Polo
Drove the 5 speed manual 1.6 Conceptline Polo with a non turbo 1.6 Petrol Engine (66kW (155Nm) / EA211 family/ Engine Code: CWVB), the fuel consumption is 4.9L/100km. It seems like the fuel consumption is not much difference compare to a 1.0 TSi Polo??? 20190915_100009.jpg 20191006_115515.jpg It se...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
Thinking of a wheels swop on my GTi.
I have 19" MB Design MB1's that I am considering fitting with red centre cap badges.
Currently riding on OZ 19" Leggera HLT

Fitted these transparent DSG paddle shift extenders from Leyo Motorsport.
They look great with the active info display.

Re: Front VW Black Badge?
Hi,
Check out badgeskins.com, they have a nice option that I am considering.
My GTi has the front sensor, I fitted the German flag from Klii. Sensor still works fine so I think that a tint will also be fine.
I'll try to upload a picture of mine.

Re: wheel spacers?
Yes it will work.
I was running this size on 18" Brescias which are 7.5j.
You could go more aggressive on 6.5j wheels.

Re: wheel spacers?
12mm front
15mm rear
will work perfectly and is still very conservative on oem wheels.

Re: Polo R-Line Part Number - Door Sill Trim Plates
Hi,
Thanks. I have those.
This is my second Polo R-Line.
The first batch of R-Lines came standard with these side sill inserts that said R-Line.
I've also noticed that VW cost cutting again, lots of trim and covers underneath the vehicle is no longer.
