I don't know if it is different for vw. I have tested it for Skoda Fabia cars and I thought it would work for vw as well.

There is no TPMS reset button. And in that way there is no TPMS installed.
But I am wondering if I could "enable it" as indirect TPMS, without the use/existence of a button

I haven't scanned the car yet.
I got a cable but I will get access to the car in two weeks. I will post the coding then.

Is this setting under abs long coding? Or adaptation?

I collect information on this and try to figure out if its possible to activate in own car.

I haven't faced this problem, so I don't know is is going to make any difference. My car does not have ops at all.

I would think that maybe you could check for a firmware update on your rns, before buying a different bcm.

Another idea is to verify if your head unit even have the Fabia image. I don't know how involved it will be, but say you reinstall the 4k module on the car and leave the front sensors disconnected.
