our polo 9n has started to use oil over a few hundred miles until the oil light comes on

cant see a leak or no oil in the exhaust

has anyone else seen this issue and where could it be using it

burning it but no smoke

where could I buy a rear hub nut x 1 for vw polo 9n

we went to euro car parts and bought 2x coil packs and new spark plugs and thought lets change them all
will keep you informed

no error codes

code 16687 came back tonight but that has the coil pack from no 2 cylinder is it just by chance that no 3 coil pack has went or would a faulty spark plug cause this error on no 3 cyl


so tomorrow 2x coil packs and 3x new spark plugs and see the outcome

it can be done if you have the right tools

clutch align tool but get it high so you can get under neath the box

good luck or get a local garage to give you a quote

had a misfire with this code which pointed to no 3 cylinder moved coil pack to no 2 cyl and the code changed to 86 which is coil pack on no 2 cyl

so pointed to coil pack faulty

replaced no 2 coil pack all good

in scotland we have dingbro

aftermarket company

Found it ,Loose neg battery terminal

fitted new neg battery lead and all go never came back

I have a P1564 and P1542 and P1171 P1579 P1564 and P1542 error codes

is this a battery fault

when I tried to buy a headlight only n/s/f availble lucky it was that that was away but what a job bumper but gave me a chance to fit new fastners
