i managed to knee mine off getting out off the car!!!

loved it great little car even with the gearbox and cambelt saga. the car never let me down and i did the best part of 70k in it. would recommend one to anyone!!!!

hi need a bit of help

whilst driving today some daft bint in a beemer tourer pulled out on me at a roundabout !

to show her my displeasure i thought i would give her a blast of the horn to try and wake the silly cow up but when i tried nothing!!!

yeah i had this problem 3 years ago it could be a dodgy ignition barrel take the cowling off and waggle the wires i did this and had no trouble since. but the immobiliser was working cos i bump started it

Im 24 4 years NCB mine is £318 fully comp with legal + my missus is on and she has only been driving 1 year. thats with admiral

just checking you checked the rear wash wiper union was secure. If liquid is shorting the switch the fault may go away when dry. just take the 2 star shaped screws(T25?) in the recesses in the pastic boot trim and pull it off. if you have already checked it i'll shut up

sounds like the same problem. take off the plastic trim off first and secure the rear wash wipe hose with one the those jubliee clips. once it has dryed out this might fix it!!!

dont bother using a screwdriver to remove the mech its pointless just get hold of one of the multi splined tools they ...

mouse did you get them ones on ebay for £380 for harltepool? saw those and looked a bargain!!

i had this problem but it is a easy fix. first of all the microswitch in the lock mech would have probably failed due to corrosion from your leaking rear wash wiper union. vw introduced a mod in the form of a mini jubilee clip to tighten the joint which i was given free by my friendly vag parts ...
