Hey another diesel polo coolness, same engine as mine too. Mines black tho (see pic below) I've got 15's and it don't look to bad (tho it is being lowered 40mm at some point early next year....)

Right, have recently purchased a chrome badge on the cheap (£1!)(exactly the same as the one on the front of a mk5) with the intention of spraying it black (as I can't seem to find a black grill badge anywhere....(apparently you can't buy one anymore)

My question is will it need primer etc. before ...

Where do I find the sticker with the colour code on it on my mk5? Also just found an ID tag under the bonnet that says my polo is a type 6N, whats that all about?

Anyone know how to colour code the rear badge on a mk5 / where to get colour coded inserts for the rear badge?

Mine had problems last winter, especially when starting in the morning, turned over a few times then started, once didn't start at all, turned all electrics off (fan, radio etc.) and it started....

All that needed doing was new glow plugs, check your service history see if its been done, if not get ...

Its prob down to when you car was built, as mine was registered march 2001, it came under the new taxation laws for CO2 output if its anything before march of that year, i think its still subject to the old ruling on car tax
