I've had my VRs for 3 years 2 months and also used this for work purposes. Now at 43,000 miles then engine (standard) really starts to open up and it's also an excellent cruising car, but beware you can easily enter 3 figure speeds without realising it.

Had a friend ship it from Czech, the armrest is exactly the same as the one found in the mkiv Golf, but with a special bracket for the Fabia.

This really depends which model you have, my 52 plate Sport had the larger style light panel, which mean't the W8 light would not fit.

The Beta and Gamma are no longer available on the new Polo, they were cassette units.

The New Polo and I think this goes for all models gets the single slot CD player RCD200 double din unit, now as most RCD units are made by Blaupunkt the same could be said of the RCD 200.

I thought about the curtain airbags but I will be getting all my side windows laminated anyway so it seems a bit pointless.

But this would not have any effect on the curtain airbags, put it this way if VW offered eight optional airbags on their cars I'd have the lot. I'd rather skimp on items ...

Right as with other posts on this subject, you definately need to spec it with Side Airags, I'd also stretch to Curtain airbags, ESP will also be a worthwhile option as 130bhp/229lb torque without any form of traction control is a lot in a small car, I should know my Fabia VRs only has traction ...

Hi could anyone tell me who sells the chrome rings that go over the speedo and rev counter, i had these in my golf but can`t seem to find anyone that sells these in the uk for the 9n, any info appreciated

I might order myself the TDi 130 Sport.

What do you guys reckon? Anything else i should be looking at? It's got to be a VW or Audi and a diesel so i've not got alot of choice...

It will cost a fair bit once you spec it up, remember for extra protection and future resale value it's worth ...

Why do Volkswagen do this, on the 9n you had twin front and side airbags as standard across the range. For the 9n3 you now have to pay extra for side airbags.

This is supposed to be one of the safest cars in its class, if ncap re-test it, I doubt it will get four stars again. If anything VW should ...
