much as i hate to contradict you josh my 1.4i gets better economy regadless, leathered or feathered as before
before 1tank (40 L) 390-400 clicks
after 1tank (40L) 420-480 clicks

yeh on the previous polo they were only glues on as i took them off my old polo. however the mk5 have them stuck on and there are lots of holes aswell.....i am 99% sure...as i have been told by many people! you win a virtual cookie :P there are locating holes in the doors as i stated above and here...

what fuel are u using i have heard from an ex employee of a garage that shal remain annonimouse :P for this post at least, that certain sites "water the fuel down" so depending on the volitility of the "water" it could have frozen or created a lock. and yes its always good to ran...

ok first the mfa is intergrated into one of the clocks i.e. rev or speed. i think that the control button is still on the end of the wiper stalk (where the rear wiper button on a 6n2 is and for the rear wiper i think you push the stalk foreward on the subject of chrome rings i have seen kits to add ...

i was thinking home made too all you need is a huge "I" with the top and bottom bits being the mountings then the vertical being the brace when you mount it fit it nice and high up otherwise the rotational force that is exerted upon the towers will overcome the strut brace and it will flex...

octanium im not kidding here do not get the 1.4 if you have a gti i own an 01 1.4mpi match i.e. air con its a 5 door. if you think you cant get any bits and pieces for the gti try and get them for a 1.4 cos i cant find much. to my knowledge there are ... no cams ... so fi kits :x ... limited body ki...

i have ultimate upper (huge improvement) omp lower (not a big change but more stable under heavy braking) kw variante 2`s (to stress them all a bit) this is on an 01 1.4i 5 door i havnt found a rear but i dont know if id fit one cos im am over steer lover p.s. i think the wiechers is a 6 point mount...
