Yes, my car has the ESP (ABS Bosch 8.2i unit).
So, do you think I could just leave the G250 sensor's wiring disconnected?
Maybe I can do a try and disconnect the plug now and see if any error shows up.

Steering rack upgrade from PR-1N2 to PR-1N4
Hi to everybody, my steering rack has gained a considerable play and I want to take advantage of the situation to make another upgrade by replacing it with the sportier steering rack version (PR-1N4) which is factory installed on 6R GTI and R WRC models and also on every engine of Audi A1 8X pre-fac...

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Could someone tell me what are the default values for these adaptation channels in ABS 8.2i unit please?
- 21 (0=small, 1=center, 2=large)
- 35 (1=on, 0=off)
- 51 (1=enabled, 0=deactivated)
- 73 (1=on, 0=off).
Also, does somebody know what they are for?

Re: MST Turbo Intake Pipe - 2012 Polo 6R
I'm really interested in this topic, since I fitted myself an MST turbo intake pipe on a Polo 6C 1.2 TSI EA211 of a friend of mine and the result was amazing. I could ask to him if he let me try his OEM turbo intake on my EA111 CZB* engine, to see if it's compatible. In this way, if it turns out to ...

Re: Climatic HAVC Error - 00457 - Control Module for Network (J519)
UPDATE Today I was casually working on some codings with my clone VCDS (which is working like a charm with the latest 21.3.0 VCDS update), when I decided to further investigate about this topic's problem. Well, long story short, I figured out how to fix it. :D 8) The cause was a BCM incorrectly code...

Re: The mysteries of part numbers? CBZB Timing chains??
Your engine already has the latest updated timing chain. It is not perfect, but it's better than the previous version. From what I read on other forums, it lasts about 150/200.000 km. It can sometimes rattle at cold starts, but it's not dangerous: it's the chain tensioner which needs few seconds to ...

Re: 1.2 tsi Fitting new Actuator and Calibration
You don't obligatorily need VCDS or any other diagnostic tool for calibrating the wastegate actuator rod. You can also do it by following these steps: 1- turn ON the ignition; 2- immediately turn it OFF; 3- wait 5 seconds; 4- repeat previous steps for a total of at least 15 times. While you'll be tu...

Re: Soft Pedal after RacingLine Big Brake Kit Change
Polo 6C GTI already has the biggest brake master cylinder (Ø23,81mm) compatible with Polo, so there's nothing you can do with brake master cylinder at this point. Before thinking about a bad piston size/MC ratio, I would bleed those new calipers again, while keeping the engine on. In this way, the b...

Re: ABS Coding after upgrading brakes
If this turns out to be true might I be better off upgrading rears to 270mm to keep the braking balance? That's exactly what I did on my 6R MY2010, because my ABS Unit (Bosch 8.2i) doesn't support 310/232 brakes coding. I custom designed, produced and installed a pair of brackets which move the ori...

Re: 6R Brake Master Cylinder Upgrade
You're welcome! :D It seems like ABS Bosch 8.2i of the first production years is the main culprit of bad brake pedal feeling. I once test drove a friend's Polo 6R GTI MY2010 with 288mm front brakes and Ø22,22mm MC combined with ABS Bosch 8.2i: the brake pedal was very spongy, with poor reactivity an...

Re: 6R Brake Master Cylinder Upgrade
My brake pedal felt pretty good with stock brakes (256mm front, 232mm rear), but I already had sport suspensions (Bilstein B12 at that time) and HEL Performance stainless steel braided lines. It became softer and less reactive (with a longer travel) only after I upgraded to 288/312mm front calipers....

Re: 6R Brake Master Cylinder Upgrade
Yes, it was. At least on my engine bay. Firstly, I removed the airbox and the intake hoses to give me more space. Then, to avoid brake liquid dripping on other components during the removal of the old master cylinder, I did as follows: - I removed all the brake liquid inside the reservoir with the h...

Re: 6R Brake Master Cylinder Upgrade
Well, I've just installed the Ø23,81mm brake master cylinder and all I can say is wow ! :o :D The pedal is much stiffer and more reactive and pedal travel is much shorter: I would say 50% shorter. It gives me the confidence I always wanted after having upgraded the front brakes to 288/312 setup. Her...

No, I didn't, but I could translate it when I'll have some free time. In the while, you can read it using Google Translate.
