Just to let you know, i tried confused.com last year and their quote for, say More Than, for example, was more than the quote i got by going direct to More Than website. This was the case with a few companies. :?

Ah, remember the days of siting with the phone and the yellow pages for a whole day ringing all those companies.

On Confused.com Elephant didn't quote me.

I went on their site and they were the best I found.

Got my renewal paperwork yesterday......

The premium for the next year would be £330 if I stayed with the current company (Esure), but I think I will be changing insurers so that I can do some mods and not pay over the odds for the priveledge.

I am an old git compared to most on here at 31. But even when I was young I would have never paid over £1k for insurance, IMO that is madness.

I agree with what you say "mk4 glx 1.6", think i'd rather get a cheaper car to insure than pay more than £1000!

Anyways, my renewal is soon too and the cheapest quote i've had so far is from Adrian Flux, it's worth giving them a call.
