I would have been more helpful if I had more to say on the subject. I think neons are most used on ricer cars so maybe asking for technical info on one of their forums might throw up more useful information.

As for whether I like them or not, I don't think they suit dubs at all, subtle ones on some ricer cars are alright because its part of the 'look'. But its all down to personal preference in the end.

Im not sure they are at all legal for road use whether you can see the tube or not ( don't quote me on that). I was under the impression that they are only legally used off-road and by that I mean off any public highway. Police would find something to get you for if they wanted to no matter what you do, and sticking huge lights under your car can just cause unnessecery attention. I dont mind interior neons in boot installs like lighting up certain parts of the install but not major fan of undercar. White could be cool tho :)

Same I'm of Arnoldo and Dee-Vubs opinion.

The funny thing about my car is due to the brightness of my LED number plate bulbs, it looks like I have a neon under my rear bumper :P Ill post a pic tomorrow

ahh sorry mate, under the car,

will be a nightmare.

ohh a question, as it seems convenient here, if i wanted to jack up the whole rear of my car, i.e. both rear wheels up, im guessing i couldnt, coz it would roll forward?

You could, providing you put blocks both sides of the front wheels. It is a little dangerous tho. Best thing to do it to get some car ramps!
