Thats with admiral, which i has chuffed with. I used Confused.com as all other sites(tesco, NU etc) were coming back at like £4k.
You'll always find somewhere who will let u pay monthly

Try confused.com and insuresupermarket.co.uk
tried them too, thanx anyway mate

I hate to be a damp squib, but are you really sure that it is worth that sort of money? You'd be better off with something smaller engined for a year or two and then make the jump to a GTI...

Or perhaps I just hate the thought of handing over 2 and a half grand to an insurance company...

Jeeeeeeeeez 2 grand insurance? Only time I'd be paying that is if it's a much much faster car than the Polo GTi.

ha ha , you guys are funny  . 2grand cnt b THAT bad! :? atleast wen u dnt think ov it as giving away £2000 in one go! i'll just think as tho its only £200 a month. as for getting a smaller car 4 a year or two, well i have tried uno, but it doesnt work. i dnt seem 2 budge 4rm driving the gti. i have looked at many other nice cars but theres always a voice in my head telling me "no, no, not this 1, stick to the gti  "

Yeah but 2 grand insurance is insane, i was upset about just paying £1200 yesterday for my insurance! Which is what I paid about a year and a half ago for my 1.4 16V Polo.

have it so your mum is the main driver and you as a named driver, thats what i've been doing for the past 4 years! i'd never pay that much for insurance on a polo! not worth it, then when your 21 and with 4 years driving exp you don't have to pay an arm and a leg!

R32.....£1200 :D
