Anyone had the problem of squeaky seats? Its driving me crazy! Does anyone know if they be fixed easily, without a visit to the garage if poss?
As mentioned in the previous post i also suffer from the engine cutting out on me, I believe it too be electrical possibly because of the amp I use. Has anyone else had any other experience of this/or remedies?
how annoying are those squeeky seats!! mine squeeked then got the dealers to have a look they greased all the base and the runners and it's stopped as for the engine mine is running good just the damn bootlid light keeps saying it open although it not will get it sorted in a few weeks.
I've got the same problem with the rear door, I've booked it in with the dearler to have it sorted, it's covered by the warranty so thats cool...apologies to all my neighbours for waking you up! heh heh!
no alarm hasn't gone off yet although i have noticed on some occassions when locking the car through the rcl the lights did'nt come on to confirm it locked although the doors were locked..looking forward to the 3am wake up call..
Just out of interest how much does it cost to fix a squeaky seat? I'm waiting for a fine day of weather then i'm gonna set about tightening everything that fits an alan key!
As for the engine yeah just driving along then will cut out, not jus when the engines cold but when its been running for some time. Re-starts everytime fine and starts fine when stationary a-ok.
Josh - what makes you think I need a new temperature sender? Also will you be attending the meet up in Mobberley on the 11th? I'm local to the area so will be making my first visit.
well its your engine speed sencer just done mine its fine now its hard to fit took me 4 hours u have to take the starer off it costs 56+vat but it has done the job!
