Squeaky Seats!

Post by mkone »

Anyone had the problem of squeaky seats? Its driving me crazy! Does anyone know if they be fixed easily, without a visit to the garage if poss?

As mentioned in the previous post i also suffer from the engine cutting out on me, I believe it too be electrical possibly because of the amp I use. Has anyone else had any other experience of this/or remedies?

Many thanks

Mark

I had a squeeky drivers seat... Until today!

Dealer finally replaced my seat base!

How do you mean cutting out?

As in, driving along, HICKUP, driving along again?

If it is like that, then I suggest a new green Temperature Sender... £24 inc VAT - Dealer Price.

Hope this helps

That'll be because your rear washer jet pipe has split, causing the fluid to run down onto your boot lock.

It causes the connector to corrode, thus making your car think your boot is opened.

Has your alarm started going off at 3am yet?

It's a pain!!

Just out of interest how much does it cost to fix a squeaky seat? I'm waiting for a fine day of weather then i'm gonna set about tightening everything that fits an alan key!

As for the engine yeah just driving along then will cut out, not jus when the engines cold but when its been running for some time. Re-starts everytime fine and starts fine when stationary a-ok.

Josh - what makes you think I need a new temperature sender? Also will you be attending the meet up in Mobberley on the 11th? I'm local to the area so will be making my first visit.

Yeah, I'll be there.

The temperature sensor is a common fault which can cause cutting out, bad performance, rough idle, stalling etc.

See you sunday.
