Whats the worst modified car in your area??
Apart from price increases in Diesel, the old Vauxhall diesels were 1.7 wern't they? as the VAG diesels are 1.9, thats where part of the money goes, but boy are they faster!Linz Polo wrote:my nova was a diesel and i loved it i got 170 miles to £10 i get that to £20 now!
(I don't know how long you have had the polo and i take it is more powerful too) I manage to get around 450 miles to a tank (40l) of BP ultimate so for it works out 150 miles for £10 (@81p a litre) which is still worse i suppose, but not too bad as it's miles better and faster than my old 1.4 16v petrol.
The worst I've seen is a Bright Green Corsa at work with all the handles removed and the bumper every little bit is smoothed like a babies bum.
It has seventeen inch alloys on and its slammed to the deck that the front bumper rips off the car when he goes over the smallest speed hump.
And to make it worse its a 1.1 or 1.2 engine lol lol lol what an idiot.

I vote for rusted out old bangers that have whopping power underneath...
Because even with a tiny engine, there's nothing quite like outrunning someone with a posh motor in your old beater because it's all mouth and no trouser, or your skills are vastly superior to theirs.
Who really cares what it looks like.. you should only shine it up to please yourself (or for a date, show

hell yeah my old civic would do 135mph (although the lad i sold it to loast his license at 147mph) and used to have fun with most cars on the motorway. i done stanmore station to my house in rugby (some 90 odd miles) in 36mins once, and that included a fuel stop!!! it looked like it couldn't beat 1.0 3cyl corsa mwahaha the feature in banzai said: wolf in sheeps clothing we think so, the 15'' mim brescia wheels only hint at the motorsport theme. i'll post some pics of it soon. if i remember lol

Just a quick, quiet note. that MG Metro that the kid-round-the-corner drives. I got a slightly better look at it yesterday, driving back from somewhere or other. It was for once granted the privelege of resting on their driveway (must have fixed the oil leak), facing the road. It's proudly wearing a completely opaque black-on-white www.PerformanceMetros.co.uk transfer over fully the top third of the screen (doesnt look expertly applied neither) and the radiator grille appears to be missing in a rather over-the-top attempt at debadging. Hence ushering it properly into the 'bad mods' hall of fame, even if only at number 24,395.
(i bet after all that he'll square up to me at the lights one day in that thing and blow my socks off in an unexpected display of raw power and professional tuning...)
