Camshaft Speed Sensor....

Post by Silva_B!tch_Owner »

Where is it located? I have no idea where it is and I need to replace the faulty sensor, I have tried using the search function to find info on where it's located but can't find anything.

The part box says impulse sensor is this the same thing?

Also is it easy to replace?

Any help would be much apperciated!

I had mine replaced at time of last service for being faulty, will try and find out from the guy who did the work, where it is located.

Cheers

if looking at the engine you have the red rocker cover exposed in front of you with the plastic cover removed you will see 2 sensors on the cam cover the cam sensor is the one to your right the shorter of the 2 held in place with 1 internal hex bolt a 5 minute job to change.
