Polo/Lupo GTI Shrick cams and pulley!

Post by Dee-vub »

Righto folks! Well since the polo is being sold i have to move on the camshafts and vernier pulley

They are all brand new, infact the vernier hasnt even arrived yet!!!! Never been in a car and knon to up the power of the GTI quite significantly!

These are the specs of the camshafts.

Inlet
Duration: 256- Intake Peak Timing (125)
Cam Lift: 9.15mm
Valve Lift @ TDC : 0.1mm
Schrick Part No: 0350 E1 561-V0

Exhaust
Duration: 244- Exhaust Peak Timing (107)
Cam Lift: 9.0mm
Valve Lift @ TDC: 0.7mm
Schrick Part No: 0350 A1 441-00

Got all of the stuff for £550, so since the stuff is all brand new and never been used, you wont find this cheaper anywhere! £500 for the lot delivered

I know there is likely to be a fair bit of interest cos a few people have made me offers before i was planning on selling.

I am actually going to stick dibs on these for max, JUST INCASE....cos i know he was keen before, but it will all obviously depend on his circumstances.

But if you are keen, then give me a shout and maybe we can get the stuff organised

Nope still got them.....hmmm with mods such as exhaust system, decat, stainless mani, BMC, Shrick cams (with vernier) and a remap to suit the mods you'd be looking at about 160bhp....maybe more!!! Now that is FAST!

anyone want them?

Problem is Jarno I have £800 saved up and my insurance is due in 2 months. Its bound to be around the £2000 mark declaring mods or a "no". Thats more then the cars standard value!

PS: my debts stand at £15,000 :(

Could always not tell the insrance ;) How would they ever know, not gonna strip the engine down are they have you had a bender.

Anyways, these will ONLY fit GTI's, and goin by the sig....looks like you have a mk4 valver.

Thats what I thought but Jarno believes the internals would fit in a 16v ie cams etc. I'm not gifted in the engine side unfortunetly. Insurance is crap but don't have the money anyway cos'v current funds :(

Not according to schrick, they have 2 different cams for the 16v and the GTI, so i'm just going by that and i dont want to end up selling to someone with the thought that they can be used on a valver

Maybe they can, it would be up to the person to try it.

hats unfortunate anyway buddy! Cos this is the way to go with N/A cars!!! Different from the usual....em uh i want to turbo my car! Good gains from this with minimum effort :D
