problems with windscreen fogging up!

ive found a way to stop mine misting up. set it on econ on two bars at 20 degrees. its worked for me all week without a hint of mist.

The air-con compressor does not work when the temperature is below 4 degrees, so the air is not being dryed. I had a problem with the windscreen steaming up as well. One of the motorised flaps the lets in outside air was not fully closing. VW recomend pointing the air flow to the footwells for a minute or 2 if the car is being restarted after a short period in cold weather so that the condensation is blow down rather than onto the windscreen. So when its below 4 switch to manual and up the fan speed.
