Then came to my car getting sorted, he said it would fit on the ramp no problem, i asked if he had lowered cars in before which he replied "yeah mate we ave mercs and them Bmw M's in ere all the time"...so i wasn't overly confident, we did get it up there but the jacks wouldnt fit under my skirts.
Unfortunately the other guy who i entrusted more was busy so I was left with the monkey, he then got what i can only describe as a massive crowbar out & a rubber matt, me thinking surely the matt is to protect my undercarriage...wrong, he puts the bar on the matt & levers the car up using the plastic sill onto two wheels, followed by some cracking sounds as the sill bends dramatically away from the door frame(f**k knows what its doing to the bottom of the sill)....he settles it down & mutters something, then tries again...this time I shout "mate stop you are actually bending the sill away from the car look", not really bothered he puts it back down and says it wont work on this, the other guy comes out & tells us to take it off the ramp so we do...
Then comes the trolley jacks, the older bloke asks me how to remove the jacking point which i begin to reply but the c**k jumps in there ignoring me and wrenches the cover half off snapping the clips so it is hanging off, then he lets me over to it! so i remove my poor clip...
anyways the rest went ok, the car got jacked up & tyres fitted, unfortunately i have come out with this:
good sill:

a**holed sill:

healthy clip :

physically & mentally abused clip:

so folks, if you have a car you care about dont take it to J W R tyres in ringmer, the owner is a nice guy, shame he has some complete dimwit as a partner who has no respect for other peoples stuff.
Any ideas if a body shop will be able to bend the sill back into place? or is it going to be a case of a whole new door sill being sprayed?..
